A look at Circus Amok and the wonderful Jennifer Miller who decided no longer to shave her beard. The film explores the unusual troupe which puts on free open-air shows in the most out-of-way places in New York. It also provides a political-poetic walk through the streets of the city far from the usual clichés of economic prosperity.
