Bruce arrives in Rome to spend one year at the Villa Medici.
His brother, a writer, is dead, and his girlfriend is leaving
him.
As days go by and as he finds himself cut off from the world
and far from his old way of life he learns to live in such
stately surroundings, between a magnificent and awe-inspiring
palace and bewitching gardens ‹‹ and a few uncommunicative
inmates.
He soon comes to meet Matteo, a young Roman working as an
intern at the villa. The young man will gradually make his
way into Bruce's life.
